Are you a confident and experienced collections professional with a background in business banking? Chandler Macleod is partnering with a prominent financial institution to recruit a Collections Officer to support their Business Banking collections team. You’ll play a key role in recovering overdue accounts, contacting clients, and helping them bring their accounts back in order, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities

Make outbound collection calls to business customers with overdue accounts
Engage professionally with clients to understand their situation and agree on payment solutions
Focus on business loans and asset finance products
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
Accurately document all collection activities and customer interactions
Liaise with internal teams to escalate or resolve account issues
Maintain a high level of customer service while achieving recovery targets

Requirements

2–3 years’ experience in collections, credit control, or account recovery
Exposure to business banking products, especially asset finance and loans
Confident communication and negotiation skills, particularly over the phone
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work onsite at Darling Harbour for the first 2 months (training and onboarding)
Flexibility to transition to a hybrid model after initial period (a few days work from home)
