These, together with fishing, are the major activities in the locality.Overview of the Role:As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Remote Area Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing and coordinating primary health care services to communities, including those in remote locations. Your responsibilities will encompass emergency care, chronic disease management, child health, immunisation, health promotion, and education, ensuring that our communities receive the highest standard of care.Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist who possesses the following qualities:
Extensive clinical experience with strong assessment, triage, and emergency management skills
In-depth understanding of chronic disease management and primary health care principles
Excellent leadership, organisational, and supervisory skills
Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team, particularly in cross-cultural settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with community stakeholders
Proven capability in coordinating medical evacuations and responding to emergency situations
