Murray Bridge Racing Club is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join the team in a new role of Racecourse & Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the appropriate management, preparation and maintenance of the tracks, grounds, facilities and machinery while adhering to correct procedural standards and compliance. Your team will be expected to deliver a safe and attractive high-quality venue for all stakeholders and patrons that meets the requirements of the Principal Racing Authority. As Racecourse & Operations Manager you will plan and co-ordinate the work outcomes of the ground staff team while fostering a safety first culture in the workplace. You will be a focal point for track and facility matters on race days and be responsible for the effective liaison with industry participants, fostering both compliance of regulatory obligations locally and building harmonious relationships within the racing sector. An ability to work, communicate and provide feedback to the team and to be open minded to receive and cooperatively assess feedback. Good communicative skills and an understanding of effective problem solving will assist in this role along with a can do attitude with attention to completing objectives within timelines.
