About the opportunityIn this position you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting children with using our school crossing to safely cross the road
  • Providing advice to pedestrians on safety rules pertaining to school crossings
  • Carrying out duties within the parameters of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Effectively managing events and exercising judgement when escalating issues
  • Setting up and dismantling safety crossing zones as required.

  • Ability to set up and take down equipment at crossing zones with ease
  • Quick to learn and effectively communicate school crossing safety rules to others
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to deescalate situations and escalate concerns when necessary
  • For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
