- Lead the ongoing uplift of data literacy across ABC Digital Product, enabling teams to self-serve insights and make informed decisions
- Partner with engineering and data teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring the delivery of effective data visualisation tools and dashboards.
- Define and integrate product data strategies working closely with Group Product Managers, Engineering Managers and stakeholders
- Drive experimentation and unlock data powered innovation to shape the future of ABC's Digital Products.
- Collaborate with the Audience Insights Team to ensure shared definitions and trusted measurement frameworks.
- Drive and oversee digital product development, implementation and continual review of a suite of digital products and platforms to achieve outstanding digital audience experiences.
- Drive and develop highly effective, innovative and measurable product strategies to achieve objectives that will engage, retain and build new audiences.
- Support the definition and implementation of product development metrics across Digital Product in partnership with key stakeholders to inform team roadmaps.
- Lead and manage product teams and drive a high-performance culture to contribute to the achievement of Digital Product's objectives.
- Define and operationalise a framework to enable product teams to meet the required quality of event tagging in line with shared data event schemas.
- Contribute to Digital Product leadership in coordinating efforts across leadership peers, with an active hand in aspects including budgeting, team structures and resourcing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation creating alignment on shared data definitions and inspiring confidence in data quality.
- Partnering with product teams to capture the required data to inform their product development with 'easy to use' visualisation tooling and techniques.
- Foster a culture of creativity that drives staff to continually seek new innovative ways to deliver content and reach audiences.
- Lead procurement, maintenance and oversee performance of product analytics platforms.
- Build strong trusted relationships with senior product managers across News, iview, and listen on priorities and opportunities.
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management with the ability to influence, negotiate and build alignment across diverse teams and leaders.
- Proven people leadership skills including managing, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in product management, data analytics or digital product development with a focus on enabling product teams through data.
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives to deliver practical user-friendly solutions.
- Solid experience with data visualisation tools and platforms (e.g, Snowplow, Snowflake, dashboards or similar).
- Expertise and knowledge on competitive trends in product development and product analytics to support continuous improvement of product team practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative, experimental mindset.
- Commitment to inclusive leadership and fostering diversity in teams and ways of working.
