- Support and assist Dental clinicals in the provision of oral health services to patients
- Undertake administrative and reception duties - filing, maintain electronic patient data base, appointment scheduling, wait list management, maintenance of stock and ordering
- Assist in the delivery of oral health promotion activities
- 5 weeks paid annual leave per year

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent work experience. Dental Assisting Certificate IV required for appointment at Grade 2.
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or demonstrated capacity and commitment to work toward achieving this qualification.
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to relate well to adults, children and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in infection control, instrument reprocessing and dental assisting.
- Demonstrated ability to plan own work, manage priorities, use initiative and to problem solve.
- Effective computer skills for communication and use of dental patient administration and management systems (eg: Titanium). Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
- Class C drivers licence with the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
