Climateworks is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager - Industry to spearhead collaborative, high-impact projects that accelerate decarbonisation and energy transition in Australia and Southeast Asia.In this pivotal role, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams and work alongside government, industry, and research partners to deliver place-based solutions that shape the future of energy and industry. You'll translate cutting-edge research into actionable strategies; policy, financing, technology deployment, that will make a real difference.What You'll Do:
  • Lead strategic projects from concept to delivery, managing stakeholders, budgets, and timelines with precision.
  • Translate complex research into clear, impactful recommendations for senior decision-makers.
  • Drive innovation in energy systems, policy, and industrial transformation.
  • Build and nurture partnerships across sectors to amplify impact and foster collaboration.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence and growth.
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in industry sector decarbonisation, energy systems, or policy development.
  • A systems mindset and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong leadership in multidisciplinary teams, especially at the intersection of modelling and policy.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage diverse audiences and translate technical insights.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact projects in dynamic and evolving contexts.
