Senior Employment Specialist

• 5 Week temporary contract
• $59 per hour plus super

• Provide tailored employment support to clients, ensuring their readiness for sustainable job placements.
• Collaborate with employers to identify suitable job opportunities for clients.
• Deliver employment workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance job-seeking skills.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes in accordance with organisational guidelines.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders, including community partners and training providers.
• Identify and address any barriers to employment for clients, offering practical solutions and support.
• Monitor and report on employment outcomes to ensure service delivery targets are met.
• Support the continuous improvement of employment service programs.

• Relevant qualifications in human resources, social work, or a related field.
• Experience in employment services or a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports.
• Knowledge of employment barriers and strategies to overcome them.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving outcomes.
• Commitment to delivering client-focused services with professionalism and empathy.

• Hourly rate of $59 per hour
