Based in Sydney's Western Suburbs at a state of the art facility.Seeking an established Quality Manager. Lead the site in all quality related matters.
This position will have 3-4 direct QA reports: with dotted lines to a wider team of QC officers.
This role is site based and very hands on with production and operations on the floor.Duties:
- Provide leadership across the site for matters relating to quality
- Leading internal, external and customer audits and manage corrective actions, customer complaints
- Work on CI projects
- Hands on production floor focus, driving change, implementing continuous improvement
- Responsibility for rostering of teams, training on QA for staff, have a high visibility on site.
- Recent and relevant experience as an established Quality manager in the food manufacturing industry
- Qualifications in food science or a related
- Experience working in a fast moving, dynamic environment essential
- Experience working with private label customers
- Experience in SQF/WQA, HACCP, ISO, GMP essential
- Experience with Coles fusion and related software desirable;
- Excellent leadership, resilience and communication skills essential
- Leadership role that can drive continuous improvement within the business
