Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pmDuties and responsibilities:This is a role that will give the right person an opportunity to make a difference, by producing products in a clean and safe environment.
- Train to manage a team of 2-3 staff members
- You will be engaged in the extrusion and moulding of products that meet Australian and European quality standards
- Conducting die setting tooling changes
- Performing machine shut down and start up's, along with trouble shooting and problem solving
- You will provide input into continuous improvements that lead to an excellent customer experience
- Plastic manufacturing background is essential
- Min 2 years of extrusion operating experience
- Training is provided if you have experience in other types of extrusion or machine operating experience
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
- Needs to be physically fit to stand on their feet all day and lifting up to 25kg+
- Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
- Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Be Self-motivated, resilient and bring a positive attitude
- Good mechanical aptitude
