- Located on Varanus Island, 30 minutes chopper flight from Karratha
- Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate within 5yrs of validity
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Previous experience in mass-catering environments is essential (volume cooking)
- Previous FIFO Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is highly desired but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP
- Prior Sous or Head Chef experience is essential
- Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
- You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
- Provide leadership, coordinate, and support staff in maintaining a high-quality catering services for our FIFO client sites
- You will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team
- Lead the catering function with safety at the forefront by adhering to HACCP and operational safety procedures, creating a strong safety culture within your team is fundamental to your success
