You will partner directly with senior stakeholders to better understand business problems, dissect, design and sometimes build prototypes. - Lead the scientific development of scalable computer vision solutions to revolutionise our catalog's media content.
- Spearhead data analysis initiatives, extracting actionable insights from Amazon's vast datasets to drive content automation and enhancement.
- Architect, implement, and optimise sota generative AI models tailored to our specific business needs.
- Lead the discussions with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
- Pioneer research initiatives that address complex customer challenges and push the boundaries of AI in e-commerce.
- Mentor and guide junior scientists and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the scientific community by conducting and publishing research at top-tier CV/ML conferences.
- Drive technical decision-making and set the direction for building future AI models.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
- 4+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Have at least 5 publications on top-tier conferences, such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or NeurIPS.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with large scale machine learning systems such as profiling and debugging and understanding of system performance and scalability
- Experience in mentoring PhD students or managing a team of scientists.Acknowledgement of country:
