We are seeking to engage a Front of House Receptionist for our Brisbane Office. If you're someone who is client-focused, passionate about providing excellent customer service and admin support, with the ability to take initiative keep reading….Based in our beautiful modern offices on Collins Street in Docklands (approx. 2-minute walk from the station), you'll spend your days providing front-of-office services to the business, managing all facets of reception and related administration and business support.
Note: This role will need someone in the office 5 days per week.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Answer and processes incoming calls and messages in a friendly and efficient manner, announcing all calls where possible;
  • Meets and greets clients and visitors;
  • Assists internal clients with queries;
  • Prepares, processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Monitors and replenishes postage supplies;
  • Monitors and replenishes kitchen supplies;
  • Arranges couriers (local, interstate and international); Reconciles courier invoices;
  • Provides data entry, word processing, photocopying, scanning, binding and document collation, as required;
  • Monitors stationery and office supplies and assists with re-stocking of stationery;
  • Monitors printer supplies, equipment booking register and maintenance requests on a weekly basis;
  • Assists with file management including creation of electronic and hard copy files, archiving and registration on central database;
  • Provides general maintenance of records;
  • Maintains meeting room booking system;
  • Arranges catering, including tea/coffee as required for internal and external meetings;
  • Prepares meeting rooms prior to and following meetings, maintaining neat and tidy rooms;
  • Assists with group functions and social activities, as required;
  • Assists with the management of company vehicles, as required;
About You
Suitable applicants will have/be able to:
  • TAFE qualifications or equivalent with course work in business curriculum
  • Client service focus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision;
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Work independently towards achieving objectives without supervision;
  • Skilled in building strong business relationships within a group environment to ensure efficient delivery of outputs;
  • Skilled in the Microsoft suite of applications.
