We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Crane Operator to join our client’s team at their Dandenong South site. This role involves operating a crane mounted on a hook lift truck with a bin attached, ensuring safe and efficient handling in line with company and safety standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a crane on the back of a hook lift truck to lift and load cardboard bales into the bin
  • Complete pre-start checks on vehicle and crane, reporting any faults or issues
  • Ensure all operations comply with company procedures and site safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety
Key Requirements
  • Valid Crane Licence (mandatory)
  • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence
  • Ability to start early (5:00 AM shifts) and work 8–10 hour days, Monday to Friday
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks as required
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and manual handling practices
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in the waste management industry (desirable)
