With a reputation for trust, results, and client-first thinking, they are well positioned to expand their presence and influence across key markets.About the RoleDue to organic growth and succession planning, a new Insurance Broker opportunity has opened within the team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in insurance broking, account management, or business development within the general insurance sector.This is a hybrid Account Management + Business Development position focused on building strong client relationships, managing risk portfolios, and driving growth across a defined QLD-based territory with a healthy pipeline and established accounts.Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and SME clients across multiple industries.
Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
Conduct client meetings to assess risk needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
Work closely with underwriting teams to prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and finalise policies.
Deliver client solutions, renewal strategies, and ongoing risk management advice.

Candidate RequirementsWe are open to applicants that have an insurance broking background or brokering experience. Experience in Commercial, Asset, Agricultural, Cyber and Professional Services is highly regarded but not essential.You'll also need:

A proven track record in Insurance Broking or Brokerage activities
Strong insurance knowledge - existing client base highly regarded
Polished communication, broking and client solution skills
Proactive and confident in building new client relationships
Tier 1 and 2 insurance broking qualifications
