- Strategic Procurement Leadership: Design and execute long-term procurement strategies that deliver financial impact, supply stability, and operational excellence.
- Supplier Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic supplier networks that align with our sustainability, social procurement, and inventory goals.
- Source-to-Contract Ownership: Oversee all national sourcing activities with a team of 6 direct reports, ensuring best-in-class procurement practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across divisions and with senior stakeholders to ensure procurement is a true business partner.
- Governance & Compliance: Maintain rigorous internal and external controls, ensuring supplier compliance and risk mitigation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics (Postgraduate preferred)
- 7+ years of leadership experience in procurement, ideally within heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, or construction
- Rail industry experience -highly desirable
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead change
- A passion for driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Champion Zero Harm principles and cost-efficiency programs
