This role focuses on connection, daily living support, and communication.About the RoleWe’re looking for an AUSLAN-fluent Support Worker to support participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing, located in one of our Vertical Villages in Marrylands. You’ll play a vital role in helping them:
  • Build confidence and independence
  • Access community activities and appointments
  • Organise and participate in daily routines
  • Develop life skills like budgeting, cooking, and planning
  • Communicate effectively and confidently in their preferred language
  • Navigate services, transport, or local supports

What You’ll Need
  • Fluency in AUSLAN (essential)
  • Experience in disability, mental health, or community support
  • Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build trust
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, Driver’s Licence, insured vehicle
  • Cert III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (preferred but not essential)
