- Lead the Process engineering team in concept principles through to design and engineering
- Lead the review of the existing process engineering practises to understand where, when and how we can improve
- Ensure process designs meet required safety standards and actively participate in HAZOP studies and design reviews
- Deliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirements
- Prepare process deliverables such as process design criteria, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process control philosophies, operating cost estimates and study reports
- Review all CAD team outputs to ensure safety, quality and operation standards are met.
- Degree Qualified in an Engineering field (Chemical Engineering an advantage)
- Must have 7 + years process engineering experience in a design and execution environment
- Experience in CAD design relevant to Process engineering and experience with project management / organisational leadership beneficial
- Strong understanding of the innovation process development is desired
- Ability to review, correct drafting and modelling work completed by others
- Ability to mathematically model process scenarios and engage others through the process and model process maps to show situational scenarios
