THE OPPORTUNITYDue to an increased workload, our Canning Vale manufacturing facility has created a new afternoon shift and are looking for 2 x Manufacturing Team Members to work across a variety of roll forming machines in our metal processing plant.This is permanent, full-time opportunity working on afternoon shift from (2:54pm - 11:00pm) with overtime available and shift loading.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Undergo relevant roll form
  • Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
  • Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
  • Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipment
  • Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
  • Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
  • Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, brake press etc)
  • Experience in conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Comfortable using technology for the purpose of machinery programming
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to producing quality products
  • Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
