These are casual positions, for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant.For the right applicant, there is the potential for term-time hours for the 2026 school year.This position reports directly to the Kindergarten Director or person appointed to be responsible for the centre. Other key relationships include children, families and the Early Learning & Care Manager.As a Kindergarten Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting kindergarten teachers and students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with classroom activities, including lesson preparation and resource organisation
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including students with additional needs.
- Monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organising educational materials.
- understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school
- a genuine interest in supporting the learning and development of students
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality in dealing with young people and their needs
- the ability to work well either individually or collaboratively in a team and to accept direction and support

- A minimum Cert III in Children’s Services (or working towards) or equivalent is required. A Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (

- First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved)
