
Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

- Development and review of Jira stories and solution artifacts.
- Providing advice on ServiceNow best practices and platform features to stakeholders and practice leads.
- Creating detailed technical designs, evaluating options, and estimating development efforts for ServiceNow modules.
- Performing development tasks for complex deliverables.
- Leading code reviews and offering peer support and guidance.
- Coaching developers both internally and among supplier resources.
- Expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and administration.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Strong experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, forms workflows, integration hub, and custom Service Portal widgets.
- Functional knowledge of other ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Reporting/Performance Analytics, and Service Catalog/Portal.
- Desirable familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Advantageous exposure to HTTP, REST, API design best practices, event-driven architectures, asynchronous programming concepts, and modern web design.
