Join our team today.About the roleWe're currently seeking a Light Vehicle Fitter for a 14/7 roster with a strong background in road transport or civil mobile plant. This is not your average LV role - we're looking for someone who's confident working on a wide range of machines, including:In this role, you will:Road trucks: Scania, Isuzu, MackCivil mobile equipment: CAT 140 & 14M graders, 20T rollers, watercartsGeneral support vehicles across a large operation * Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation.
Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer based systems.
Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel.
Conduct technical inspections and job estimations.
About youHeavy diesel or LV trade qualifiedExperience across both trucks and mobile civil gearSolid diagnostic and troubleshooting abilitySafety-focused with a proactive attitude * Experience in Vehicle Air Conditioning systems desired
Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of Toyota vehicles
You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
