Market leading and growing civil contracting business with blue chip clients Excellent career progression and company culture, excellent pipeline Rostered work that is either DIDO or FIFO in the Bowen Basin Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior / Project Manager to join their growing business. Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects. Types of projects include bulk earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5 to $25m but can go up to $50m+. This role is for potential projects which will be based in the Bowen Basin and the candidate will either live locally or ideally DIDO (drive in, drive out). FIFO to Mackay will also be considered. The work will be on a roster. Candidates must have previous experience working in bulk excavation/civil and/or demolition projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and scheduling of construction activities Management of site project teams Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Recruitment and mentoring of teams Business development Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 7 – 15+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects.
