We’d love you to join us.OpportunityQuantexa are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to ownership of our support in the APAC region, which is underpinning our rapid growth. The position will offer opportunities to work with latest cloud based corporate IT systems and to have significant influence and responsibility over the development of our company. Working as part of a growing IT team, this is an ideal position for an IT professional with already some experience in the work market.We are an UK based company with an increasing presence in the APAC (Singapore, Australia, Malaysia)This will position will be reporting directly to the Head of IT in the UK and the primary responsibility will be to support our worldwide systems and users.What you’ll be doing
  • Provide IT support to 700 - 900 users in a mostly remote in a global environment
  • Managing the on-boarding process for of new Starters
  • Acting as first point-of-contact for problems across our IT estate both onsite and offsite.
  • Working with our information security team to roll out new initiatives across the business.
  • Use automation tools to improve IT workflows.
  • Travel to other offices in APAC offices to maintain and support (Couple of times a year)
  • Manage tickets via the IT HelpDesk and resolve issues in accordance with SLAs
  • Manage off boarding process and make sure it adheres with company policy
  • Ensure the security and compliance of all company laptops & devices
  • Create and maintain IT procedures and reports to support the organization
  • Create and Maintain Documentation and FAQs to the users.
  • Plan and implement new systems into our already large SaaS portfolio
  • Support and implement new solutions to support our Hybrid working model
RequirementsWhat you’ll bring
  • A high level of technical fluency; an ability to efficiently use online documentation/resources and a logical problem-solving approach to pick up new technologies or resolve bugs in existing tools.
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to explain day to day technical concepts to a range of audiences, technical and non-technical
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Windows 10, AzureAD) and an ability to perform basic administrative tasks.
  • An understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, networks/subnets, TCP ports).
  • Experience Powershell scripting is a big plus.
  • Experience in providing operational support to end users across the business.
  • Knowledge of Information Security best practices
  • Knowledge of basic software engineering principles
Nice to haves
  • Experience in similar IT Support roles.
  • Exposure to Microsoft’s Office 365 and AzureAD cloud-based offerings.
  • Experience with SaaS software and how to manage multiple platforms.
  • A “hands on” style and ability to wear multiple hats and juggle multiple priorities in a start-up environment
  • Experience in particular technologies or domains is less important than a desire and ability to learn.
