- Leading payroll operations and compliance across multiple entities and states, including superannuation, salary packaging, and STP reporting.
- Managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers and ensuring service excellence.
- Driving payroll governance, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Leading payroll integration for acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
- Coordinating employment tax activities including FBT, payroll tax, and workers compensation.
- Providing strategic insights through payroll reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
- Collaborating with global payroll teams to align best practices and contribute to group strategy.
- Proven experience managing Australian payroll operations for 1000+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and ATO compliance.
- Experience integrating payroll operations from acquired businesses or onboarding large volumes of new starters.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Payroll certification or relevant qualifications.
