· Assist/Lead in design management
· Assist/Lead in design development and value engineering
· Design management and documentation and control
· Project planning
· Overall responsibility for implementing, reviewing and developing procedures for quality checks
· Contributing to the Planning process for Quantity Surveying and budgeting.
· Manage a section of works - sub contractors, supervisors and engineers
· Liaise with design engineers on design & buildability
· Liaising with relevant parties to ensure project standard is being meet.
· Preparation of progress control plans (flow charts , inspection test plans & permanent records ) relating to drawings & Auditing
· Liaise with clients such as MRPV, local councils & utility companies as required
· Assist in the development of the site occupational health & safety manual and implement
· Prepare and submit RFI's
· Manage and maintain cost controls, lookaheads and forecasting
· Work alongside Supervisor/Foreman to ensure programme is being met
· Manage budgets
· Procurement of work and materials
· Manage subcontractors
· Manage stakeholder relationshipsResponsibilities:
· To ensure their scope is built to the correct standards as set out in the design
· To ensure the Budget for their scope is met
· Runs the day-to-day operations of a site for a specific scope of worksMust Have
· Civil related degree
· Demonstrated history as Civil Engineer on these types of jobs
