Truck Team Member - Labourer / Customer Service / Truck Driver

Truck Team Members at 1800-GOT-JUNK? are the “face” of 1800-GOT-JUNK. Each day is different from the next. We are seeking friendly , fresh faced team members to join our journey of providing exceptional customer service to our customers ! You will be matched up with another team member each day and travel around to different areas of the Gold Coast in our shiny blue trucks. We visit our customers' homes or businesses to provide an upfront price to take away their unwanted items whilst leaving smiles on their faces. Our team is committed to safety and to being environmentally friendly by re-purposing , reusing , recycling, donating, and other options for keeping as much out of landfills as possible.
Part Time & Casual Positions Available: 24hrs+ hrs per week (with the potential to increase in the future if interested )
About you:
You are an energetic, team player who loves to work in a fun environment, meet lots of new people on a daily basis, who thrives from variety, and doing physical work. You will be able to commute to Nerang (4211). We offer flexible schedules for people seeking part-time or casual work to fit around your studies or other employment. Once you are a certified team member we have remote starts around the city to reduce your morning commute times.
OPEN CAR LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL - LR truck licence is a bonus! We have internal and external driving inductions/tests to ensure you have the skill set and mindset to keep yourself , the public and our vehicles safe on Queensland roads.
MUST BE ABLE TO GET TO NERANG or TWEED HEADS ( 4211 / 2485 ) for shifts.
Here’s what you can expect as a truck team member:
  • You will follow the safety training and wear all required uniform and safety equipment .
  • You’ll remove, load, and sort our customers' unwanted items so we can find the best outcome for their items - we’re committed to reducing waste ! That's why our customers use us :)
  • You’ll ensure the job order is completed as required
  • You’ll work efficiently with the team to stay on schedule.
  • You will create an exceptional customer experience.
  • You will be in charge of estimating your removals and providing upfront pricing.
  • We pay award rates + super + bonuses
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity isn’t required; however, a background in customer service is a definite asset!​
