- Transcription of dictation within specified timeframes.
- Opening and closing matters.
- Matter management, ensuring team members adhere to deadlines.
- Drafting, formatting, and amending legal documents and correspondence.
- Filing and maintaining up-to date files.
- Enterning matter disbursements and processing cheque requisitions.
- Preparation of bills.
- Organising completed matters for archiving.
- Provide reception relief when needed.
- Handling general ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Minimum 2+ years Legal Secretary experience
- Experience in personal injury law desirable.
- Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Skills.
- Typing speed of 70 words per minute
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and professional phone manner
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
