We have been retained by our client to find a Field Sales Manager for a globally renowned manufacturer of high-quality industrial pumps and fluid-handling equipment. This is a business that provides innovative solutions for a wide range of applications and industries.About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing sales activities in the NSW/QLD region. Your primary goal is to achieve or exceed planned sales targets and gross margins while aligning with the company's policies and objectives.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and service an existing network of distributors and manufacturers while identifying potential new customers and opportunities, particularly in the wastewater industry.
  • Engage with specialist contractors, manufacturers, and consulting engineers in the wastewater industry to promote the company’s products
  • Maintain a high level of customer service through various communication channels, including virtual meetings and in-person sales calls.
  • Strong understanding of the company's products to assist customers with pump selection and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain customer records and provide reports
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for credit returns, warranties, expenses, and other relevant matters.
  • Plan and participate in promotional activities, trade fairs, exhibitions
  • Product training
  • Set sales plans and targets for the area of responsibility.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a well-established track record in sales and territory management, preferably within the industrial equipment industry. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are crucial prerequisites. In addition, possessing a high level of technical competency in pumps and fluid-handling equipment is highly desirable, as is demonstrating exceptional time management and planning abilities, which are deemed essential for success in this role. Familiarity with the wastewater industry is considered an asset.Next steps:
