As an M365 & Identity Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing secure and scalable identity and access management (IAM) solutions as well as Microsoft 365 core platforms, such as Exchange online for our customers. You will work closely with stakeholders across various customers to understand their requirements and translate them into robust architectural designs that align with industry best practices and security standards. This position requires expertise in identity technologies, a strong understanding of Microsoft technology, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.The Person

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Active Directory, ADFS, EntraID and other M365 technologies, such as Exchange Online
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of IAM solutions and their features
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication of technical concepts
Customer Focus: Ability to understand and address customer needs
Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking to propose solutions for customer challenges
Team Collaboration: Working closely with sales and technical teams

RequirementsArchitectural Design and Solution Development:Develop end-to-end architectural designs for Active Directory, ADFS, EntraID and other M365 technologies, such as Exchange Online, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, performance, and security.Requirements Analysis:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to all of the above architecture design functions including user authentication, authorisation, single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation.Technology Evaluation:Evaluate and recommend identity technologies, platforms, and solutions based on business needs, industry trends, and security requirements.Security and Compliance:Ensure that the solutions designed comply with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security policies. Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.Documentation:Review detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures, to facilitate implementation and support working closely with Tech Leads and Senior Engineers.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT operations, to align technical initiatives with broader organisational goals.
