- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse productivity.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to streamline receiving, storage, and order fulfillment processes.
- Analyse freight costs and transportation routes to optimise shipping efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate contracts to secure competitive rates.
- Monitor freight movements and address any issues or delays proactively.
- Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Evaluate customer service performance related to logistics, including order fulfillment, delivery accuracy, and responsiveness to inquiries or complaints.
- Analyse customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement in the logistics process.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address any logistics-related issues promptly and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Develop strategies to enhance communication and visibility throughout the supply chain to improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key customer service KPIs and metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and order accuracy, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collect and analyse data related to Fulfillment operations, including volume trends, transit times, and costs.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Present findings to management and make recommendations for process enhancements or cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for warehousing and transportation operations.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, such as suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on logistics performance and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on warehousing and freight operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Power BI & SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand logistics regulations and industry practices.
- Previous experience working in the Australian or New Zealand logistics market.
