Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.THE ROLEDue to continued growth, we are currently seeking Safety Advisors to join our existing HSE Team on FIFO shutdown and project work.As a Safety Advisor you will be leading safety initiatives for our shutdown operations and major projects across various mine sites throughout Western Australia. You will oversee projects varying in size and duration. The position is FIFO with the benefit of being able to manage your own work schedule through our Linkforce Hub App.Duties include:

Facilitating and providing mentoring opportunities of the Safe Work Commitments throughout the organisation
Undertaking Incident investigations
Monitoring and achieving KPI's in compliance with the HSEQ Management System (inclusive of client requirements)
Supporting and continuously improving risk management strategies throughout the organisation
Mentoring and educating the workforce on HSE matters
Supporting site leadership team

ABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or other relevant WHS qualification
Previous experience on Major Projects on site within the resourcing sector is highly desirable
Experience in mine site shutdowns in a Safety Advisor role (desirable)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing is desirable but not essential to apply
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong communication skills & time management
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritise work
A sound understanding of risk management
Competent in Microsoft programs and other computer-based systems i.e. SharePoint
