Ensuring the Company is compliant with Redpath requirements, Client requirements and all relevant legislative requirements. This position will predominantly work Monday to Friday at our Perth office and requires regular site visits.Key Responsibilities:continuously monitor compliance of Redpath's Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management systemsreview and develop Redpath training manuals and competency training packages in line with RII National Standards Competenciesmonitor Redpath's calibrated asset register, ensuring assets are assigned and have current certificationreview incident reports and investigations ensuring appropriate actions are raised where required to mitigate re-occurrencefacilitate and participate in Risk Assessmentslead and participate in site incident investigations and carry out risk review analysis ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed outliaise with site Safety & Training teams and providing ongoing support as requiredRequirements:Cert IV in OHS (or equivalent) and Cert IV in Training & AssessmentMinimum 3 years’ experience in a safety professional role within mining, preferably undergroundGood knowledge of Workplace/Mine Health & Safety legislationProven organisational leadership in the key areas of Risk Management, Incident Investigation and Safety LeadershipStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in the use of Microsoft Office SuiteValid manual drivers licenceAble to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police ClearanceA positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.In return you can expect:Career pathway through internal promotionsCompetitive salary packageSalary Sacrifice for Superannuation and Novated car leasingDiscounted health insurance with BUPAAccess to a large range of staff benefitsEmployee Assistance (4 sessions per annum), well-being assistance that is free for all the family.Apply NowAs an equal opportunity employer, Redpath is sensitive to the importance of diversity in the workplace and supports this through a work environment committed to gender equality and cultural diversity.
