The Opportunity is to lead a cross-functional team spanning Sales, E-commerce, Marketing, Demand Planning and MerchandisingReporting to the General Manager, Triumph Asia (a Hong Kong-based executive with global experience), the Commercial Director will act as the country leader for ANZ, owning the commercial strategy and overseeing all growth-driving functions. This is a critical role in Triumph's regional structure, with a clear remit to evolve the business from stable and traditional to agile, digital, and growth-oriented.You will lead a cross-functional team including:
  • Sales & Account Management (Major retailers and independents)
  • E-commerce & Digital (a key growth lever)
  • Marketing & Brand Activation
  • Demand Planning, Merchandising and Sales Admin
You will also work closely with HR, Finance and IT business partners (who report directly to Asia but operate in-market).Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing a clear commercial strategy for ANZ, aligned with group priorities
  • Leading all revenue-generating functions, including B2B, ecommerce, and future DTC opportunities
  • Identifying new sales channels and partnerships (e.g. exploring retailers or direct-to-consumer pilots)
  • Enhancing financial and operational rigour within the team, including owning budgets, forecasts, and margin management
  • Investing & developing team capability through smart recruitment, leadership development, and cultural reset
  • Bringing speed, ambition and entrepreneurial thinking to a traditionally process-heavy business

You may come from apparel, sportswear, lifestyle or premium retail and be ready to take full ownership of a national P&L and leadership team.You will bring:
  • 10+ years in senior sales, commercial, or GM roles within multi-channel consumer businesses
  • A proven track record of growing revenue, building capability and leading transformation
  • Experience across B2B and ecommerce channels; DTC or digital retail a strong advantage
  • Commercial depth, financial literacy and strategic thinking
  • Strong people leadership and the ability to create high-performance, customer-led teams
  • An entrepreneurial mindset - curious, bold, agile and outcomes-focused
  • A style that blends hands-on execution with board-level thinking and communication
