- Balance and reconcile key balance sheet accounts - keeping the numbers watertight so the team can rely on accurate financial insights.
- Prepare month-end working papers (trust accounts, accruals, inventory, prepaids, recoverable expenses) - giving leadership the clarity they need to make confident decisions.
- Own month-end duties like workbooks and journal entries - ensuring deadlines are met and the business has a true picture of performance.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies - spotting issues before they snowball and protecting the integrity of the accounts.
- CA/CPA qualification and strong accounting foundations.
- Solid systems exposure (Oracle experience is ideal, Excel skills essential).
- The ability to pick things up quickly, ask good questions, and adapt.
- A professional yet approachable style as you'll be liaising with finance and non-finance colleagues.
