As a not-for-profit organisation with deep roots in our community, we’re committed to walking alongside young people as they transition from care into independent adulthood.We’re currently seeking a passionate and proactive Transition Coach to join our Specialized Support team in Emerald. In this role, you’ll provide culturally responsive, practical support that empowers young people to build safe, stable and fulfilling futures.What will a typical day look like?
  • Assist young people in finding a safe and affordable place to live.
  • Support young people in gaining access to legal advice when needed.
  • Support access to training, preparation for employment and resume writing.
  • Support young people to understand management of finances and entitlements.
  • Facilitate goal-setting and personal development
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention/Community Services or equivalent.

  • A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.
