As a Senior Planner, you will join a knowledgeable and supportive team, where you will use your expertise to complete a range of duties including but not limited to; leading and assessing a range of planning applications, producing reports, submissions and briefing notes and drafting of permit conditions.You will also be involved with leading or attending pre-lodgement meetings with developers and stakeholders to discuss proposed projects, identify potential issues, and guide them through the planning process.About you
This role will be ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career and will have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated Planning experience.You will also have experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff to achieve expected outcomes.To be considered for this role, you must;

Hold a qualification in land use planning or related field
Have a strong understanding of Tasmania’s planning system and statutory planning processes
Have strong verbal and written skills
