
Allied Health Assistant - Mater at Home

- Full-time
- Delivery of clinical services under the supervision of an allied health clinician;
- Facilitation of an individual or group program with clients in their home or at a community-based centre;
- Communication with the treating clinician to ensure an understanding of program requirements and reporting on outcomes of visits;
- Review of equipment prescribed to the client, ensuring it is working correctly and the client is using safely;
- Supporting a multi-disciplinary team with clinical administrative duties; and
- Supporting allied health clinicians by preparing and maintaining equipment and resources for clinical care.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- A current open or provisional driver's licence, valid for use in Queensland.
- Have or have the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and an NDIS Worker's Screening card (Yellow Card).
- Experience in community-based allied health assistance is desirable but not necessary.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
