Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Utilities Digital Engineer to join their high-performing infrastructure team. You will be instrumental in implementing digital engineering strategies across utility packages, supporting the integration of technology into utility management, and enhancing project delivery and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital innovation in the engineering and construction sectors and looking to shape the future of utility management. You'll work alongside digital, design, and construction teams as well as utility owners to drive digital excellence and solve complex project challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Implement digital engineering strategies and models for utility packages across projects • Develop schemas, requirements, and maintain utility digital models and GIS data • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to integrate digital tools and systems • Support deployment and training of digital platforms to enhance project delivery • Prepare reports and drawings to support tender submissions and utility issue resolution • Contribute to the rollout of the company’s Digital Strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging tech • Escalate and resolve digital delivery challenges in coordination with Utilities and Digital Managers • Drive stakeholder engagement and champion digital awareness internally and externally • Contribute to innovation, tender submissions, and business development activities Skills & Competencies Required: • Digital Innovation – Ability to implement digital solutions that enhance utility project delivery • Project Leadership – Lead cross-functional teams and support technology integration • Strategic Thinking – Anticipate project challenges and align tech solutions with client goals • Collaborative Communication – Strong engagement with stakeholders to drive outcomes Qualifications and Requirements: • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline • Solid experience in digital engineering, utilities, or infrastructure delivery • Familiarity with GIS platforms and data visualisation tools • Strong communication skills, particularly in translating technical content for broader audiences • Experience with collaborative project environments and cross-discipline stakeholder engagement This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
