Our client is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to manage and support a team of Housing Support Practitioners providing essential services to veterans and their families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. In this leadership role, you will oversee the Veteran Homelessness Programme, ensuring high-quality, veteran-centred support while fostering a positive and efficient team culture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the Housing Support team, ensuring compliance with best practices and service standards.
  • Manage a small caseload, providing housing support and case management to veterans.
  • Develop and review case plans to ensure alignment with client needs and organisational objectives.
  • Facilitate team meetings, case reviews, and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Human Services, Health Sciences, or related field (Essential).
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a Team Leader role, preferably in homelessness or community services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Knowledge of person-centred, strength-based case management.
  • Empathy and the ability to work in sensitive environments with veterans and their families.
