Rydges Newcastle - Handyperson

• Maintain the building, plant & equipment and fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to a high standard.
• Undertaking general repairs, patching & painting, plumbing, carpentry and preventative maintenance throughout the Hotel.
• Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
• Performing varied and wide range of repair and maintenance tasks throughout the hotel with minimal supervision and with diligence
• General Gardening and Groundskeeping.
• Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.

• Previous experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate skills required to be successful in this role
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proven record of reliability, punctuality and presentation.
• Organisational and time management skills
• Have a solid understanding of Safe Work Practices and WH&S.
