Site Engineer : Ipswich

• Assist in the planning and execution of subdivision construction activities, including roads, drainage, sewer, water reticulation, and utilities
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is carried out correctly
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines and quality requirements are met
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Support the preparation of project documentation such as ITPs, RFI submissions, and as-builts
• Liaise with surveyors to manage set outs and ensure works align with the design
• Maintain accurate daily site records, including diaries, QA checklists, and reporting on progress and issues
• Assist in procurement of materials and scheduling deliveries in line with project program
• Ensure all works adhere to relevant standards, codes, and environmental regulations

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
• 1-3 years' experience in civil infrastructure or subdivision works (graduates with relevant internships may be considered)
• Strong understanding of civil construction principles and relevant standards (e.g. Austroads, WSAA codes)
• Competent in reading and interpreting civil and structural drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or QA software (e.g. Aconex, Procore) is desirable
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with site teams, consultants, and clients
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental management
