About the roleYou will be joining a comprehensive mental health service that delivers a wide range of treatment and care to a community of approximately 265,000 people. This service provides support across the full spectrum of mental health needs, including Acute Inpatient Care, Acute Community Care, Psychiatric Emergency Services, Consultation Liaison, Aged Care Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Residential Services, Mental Health Intensive Inpatient Care, and Early Psychosis Services.Care is delivered through multidisciplinary teams working collaboratively to ensure individuals and their families receive high-quality, person-centred support. These teams include psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and administrative staff.As the successful applicant, you will primarily be based in an adult inpatient unit, where you will be responsible for the direct clinical management and treatment of individuals aged 18 to 65 experiencing complex mental illness. In this role, you will be supported by junior medical officers and will collaborate closely with other adult mental health teams. Additionally, the role includes involvement in outpatient services, such as post-discharge follow-up and ongoing community-based care.Relocating to Australia? Support we can offer you.
