They specialise in the delivery of high-end fit out and refurbishment projects in the commercial, hospitality, retail, industrial, government, and education sectors. Having an already well-established relationship with several high profile clients, this company has secured a number of exciting projects across their specialised sectors. This company is looking for a highly ambitious Estimator to join their team. Located in Sydney, this firm operates all across NSW with the bulk of their projects located in the Metropolitan region - to date, this company has designed and built countless Sydney CBD offices!ABOUT THE POSITION.Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, contributing to the successful tendering and securing of projects. With comprehensive guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and development by ensuring the successful acquisition of key projects.DUTIES.

Prepare tender submissions
Estimating projects
Cost Planning
Scope of works preparations
Subcontractor negotiations
Pre tender planning
BOQ's
Work with the team to plan programming

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

Minimum of 2 year of experience in estimating role within the construction space
Background in commercial fit-out projects is preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
