The General Manager – People & Operations is responsible for leading and coordinating the core operational functions of the club with a focus on rescue services, member engagement, volunteer management, compliance, governance support, and strategic planning.Why You’ll Love This Role:

- Champion stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, and community partnerships
- Manage policy, governance, compliance, and risk
- Support Board meetings and contribute to high-level decision-making
- Strong leadership in a multi- stakeholder or volunteer-led organisations
- Track record in strategic planning and operations management
- Human resources and financial management expertise
- Proven success managing teams, budgets, and multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with or leading volunteer-based groups
- A solutions-focused mindset and strong commercial acumen
- Passion for community service, sport, or not-for-profit organisations
- Experience in fundraising, sponsorship or grant funding
- Familiarity with public safety organisations or similar community bodies
- Experience in brand, sponsorship or marketing initiatives
