Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Support, maintain, and optimise Cisco-based enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Assist in the delivery of network projects, upgrades, and security improvements.
- Implement scalable network solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Monitor and respond to network incidents, following ITIL processes and best practice.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies across switching, routing, and wireless networking.
- Exposure to security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention.
- Familiarity with additional enterprise vendors (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar) highly regarded.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex network issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with monitoring and network management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification highly regarded.
