OverviewWe are seeking our new Senior Cloud Project Manager (Managed Cloud) to join the Axway team!We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Project Manager to lead and coordinate cloud-based initiatives across our organization. This role is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration, optimization, and transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, project management methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Cloud Onboarding, Upgrades and projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D engineering, Cloud security, Operations, Support and Product business units.
  • Define & confirm project scope per contracts, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, risks, and change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security, and regulatory requirements are in place.
  • Provide regular updates to Stakeholders and Cloud leadership.
  • Identify and escalate project risks, resolve project issues and blockers in collaboration with engineering and technical R&D teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in cloud project delivery methodology and onboarding processes.
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2-3 years focused on cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
Preferred
  • Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
Education
  • Master’s degree or post-secondary in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Project Management certifications or equivalent education
  • Agile, ITIL, or Security certifications (PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, SDLC etc.)
  • Experience and working knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, Jira and Confluence, and ServiceNow platforms
  • Familiar with integration technologies, Sass, Cloud, distributed data governance policies
