Our client is a national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation and the plumbing/drainage market. They are renowned for being the largest producer of precast concrete and pipe manufacturing with our operations expanding and employing 800 employees across 6 states in Australia. Due to growth, we are currently seeking experienced welders to join the team.Pay rate - $36 per hr (including casual loading)Job Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding
Bending bars as per drawings using machinery and jigs
Weld steel bars and mesh
Fabricate cages for concreting
Reading/interpreting drawings
Work in a manufacturing environment
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Proven MIG welding skills
Ability to pass a welding test
Drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
Shift Details:
Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday
Overtime Available, including Saturdays
