- Pay Rate: $48 - $58 per hour + super

- Heavy Fabrication experience
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Reading drawings and specifications to determine the correct set-up process and welding processes.
- Understanding the industry standards and requirements.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of fabrication
- Working with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, measuring tools, weld gauge's
- Working with power tools such as buffing wheels, drills, polishers, and grinders.
- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Welding with GMAW and FCAW welding, oxyacetylene cutting equipment and plasma cutting equipment.
- Flame heating, bending.
- Implementing the WHS procedures that are required to complete a job safely, including the use of the required (PPE)personal protective equipment for the job.
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a workshop environment.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to understand and interpret welding specifications independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Certificate III in Engineering (Boilermaker/Fabrication)
