-We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Beenyup Primary is an Independent Public School in Byford, WA, which caters for children from Kindergarten to Year Six. Beenyup proudly opened its gates in 2020 and is located in the growing town of Byford. The name of our school acknowledges the original Noongar name of Byford and means 'place of water'.Find out more about our school by visiting or .The RoleThe School Officer will play an important role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school. This includes tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. They will be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.In addition to financial management, the School Officer will also assist with the management of school assets. This includes overseeing the administration of out-of-hours use of school facilities, coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs, and maintaining key registers and security system codes.   • Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
